Celebration of Love is simply my love letter to humanity. In 2009, after my usual trip to my hometown in the Bahamas, I was filled with compassion for the people. I witnessed depression, a lack of hope and the absence of a sense of purpose and direction, especially among the younger generation. I truly believe that God allows us to experience certain adversities, but I like to think of them as opportunities. On the plane ride back to California, it was pressed upon my heart to create a space for the people of the Bahamas to feel safe, cared for, loved and to inspire them to become their true selves. It’s been 12 years and we strive to continue to be a blessing to communities around the world.
